I have been painting in the classical tradition since I was about 12 years old. I started drawing with charcoal, studying color theory, space, form, tone, and eventually progressed to reproducing my favorite Old Master's paintings in oil by age 14. I have to say thank you to Mary Watkins of the Three Muses School of Art in Austin, Texas for being a teacher and introducing me to art and how to appreciate it.

I attended the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore, MD the summer of 2005. It was a wonderful experience being taught by the Schuler family and learning about Maroger medium and other traditional painting mediums and methods.

Presently, I paint at home in my spare time when I'm not doing school work online or waiting tables in Austin, Texas. I am currently studying digital imaging, website design, Flash animation, and multimedia.
