If you don't find your answer here I will be happy to answer any questions via email.
Q: Where do you get your bones?
A: A number of places really. It helps to know land owners. We find our bones sun-bleached in fields. Some of them are generous contributions from viewers like you. We do not clean carcasses. Roadkill is out of the question and in no way are animals ever harmed for our art, ever.
Q: Are they for sale?
A: Sure. Some of them are. If you are interested in buying a sculpture send Josh an email. Tell us which one you are interested in and, if it is one we will part with, we will respond with our price. Offers are welcome but bear in mind you are competing with my desire to keep them. Each one is comletely original and can not be duplicated in the same medium. That means when I let it go, it's gone.
Q: Are they sturdy?
A: Absolutely. They are held together with a strong A/B compound and it is rare that one ever breaks without human intervention. They are not toys however and must be displayed in sacred space, safe from pets, children and the elements.
Q: Can they be displayed outside?
A: I don't recomend it. A covered patio or porch should be fine. Avoid direct exposure to the elements, especially the sun and rain. You may want to take precations to guard against them being knocked over by wind or animals if building an outdoor display.
